Impact Stories

From Streets to School – Riya’s Journey

After losing their parents, Riya was living on the street with her younger brother. Working together with one of our child welfare programs, Riya was able to become back enrolled in school and see a counselor, and now, she dreams of being a teacher. Riya’s resilience inspires many other children who are dealing with the same issues.

Empowering Children in Rural Communities

In rural Rajasthan, many children had no way to attend school. After engaging in the community program, over 200 children now regularly attend school. The learning kits and mentoring program we developed contributed to greater literacy and enhanced learners’ self-assurance and hope for future outcomes.
